Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Hi Mommy, It's me--Nathan.
Even though it's not until tomorrow, me and Daddy just wanted to go ahead and wish you a very happy birthday!

We both love you so much, and we want you to know how special you are to us. Thanks for taking care of us even though we're a bit goofy sometimes.
These are a few of my favorite things about you. I love it when you tickle me,

when you do fun things with me like baking cookies,

and most of all when you kiss me goodnight.

I don't want to admit it, but I'm even glad that you discipline me when I disobey.

Thank you for being such a wonderful mommy. Oh, and Daddy says he likes you a lot too.

Nathan's Playhouse

Well. . . it is not really a playhouse. . . more like a decorated box with doors. But Nathan LOVES to play in it.

Tonight after we put him to bed, Nathan was saying meow... meow... meow... which means he wanted his stuffed kitty with him in bed. We remembered that he had put kitty in his house earlier tonight, so Mark moved the house and saw . . .

. . . not just the kitty, but a large stash of toys, books, and clothes. We have noticed this before. He likes to take his favorite things into the playhouse. It is also a good place to hide his toys from Micah. So, we had seen it before, but tonight it cracked us up.

What's in the pile? Blue jeans, jacket,and tennis shoes from today; 4 books; Thomas the train flashlight; pajamas from his bag (from spending the night with Grandmama & Grandaddy); and KITTY.



Nathan continues to entertain us. He is a good little boy, and we enjoy all the silly little things he does. . . We love being his parents.

He loves wearing his boots. There is just something about a boy and his boots. They match everything--even pj's!

Silly Boys. . .

Well, we have many, many, many pictures to share, but very little time to work on posting them. So to whet your appetite, here are two funny videos. I promise to catch up on the past few months.

Nathan loves to sing at all times. This particular night Mark was giving him a bath and they were singing together. I didn't get the best of the singing, but this is pretty darn cute.

Micah is really growing up. He is ten months old now and oh so funny! We're not sure where the time went. This video was taken one night from the back of our car. Uncle Nathan was "putting words in the mouth" of a sleeping Micah.
