We got a special surprise invitation today. Our local congressman Bart Gordon nominated our family to be his "Angel in Adoption" for a three-day event in Washington DC sponsored by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. You can read more about the event here:
So in a few weeks we'll be going to the big city with our little boy. We're honored to represent so many families who have taken the adoption journey, and to remind our nation's leaders that beuracracy and politics should not get in the way of real children who need "forever families". And all the glory goes to our Heavenly Father, who brought us into His forever family through His Son, our Brother, Jesus Christ.
