Disappointment & Delay

We finally received news about our immigration approval via our congressman's office. They are going to sign off on our approval, but not until Saturday (26th). Then they have to send it to a visa processing center in New Hampshire, who will take a week to turn it around and send it to Guatemala.

So we have requested an appointment change for the week of August 11. Although we're relieved to finally hear something and this gives us more time to prepare for the trip, we'd much rather be rushing to pack so that we can hold our son!

Pray that immigration follows through on what they've promised. Pray that we can let go of the disappointment and resentment and focus instead on further preparations for Nathan's homecoming.

My prayers are with you as you prepare for your trip. I pray that you do indeed get your visa soon and in time for an appointment on August 11.

Love,

Let go of the resentment b/c it is only against God, and He is the one that is blessing you.... as odd as it sounds, He is the one that is allowing all these delays - He knows when the timing is right for both you and Nathan Daniel, so let it play out as it will - even as hard as it is, knowing that this trip will be even better going on Gods time...

It was great to see you guys Saturday but it would have been better if we hadn't because you were out of the country getting Nathan. We are praying for you and NAthan and the whole process. I know it's hard but remember that God's timing is the best. We love you guys and hopeully we'll be able to celebrate with you soon.
